Nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands amongst picturesque rural and coastal scenery, the Park enjoys expansive views of the beautiful Dornoch Firth which has become a popular holiday destination for many people over the years. We are 2 miles north of Tain, Scotland's oldest Royal Burgh and home to Tesco, Asda, Lidl and Home Bargains for food shopping as well as to a number of cafes and restaurants. For golfers, Tain, boasts an excellent 18-hole golf course. And the world-famous Glenmorangie and Balblair Distilleries are close by.
The quaint cathedral town of Dornoch with its variety of specialist shops and superb beaches lies about 6 miles north of the Park and the world-famous John O'Groats is 89 miles to the north. Easily accessible, just off the A9 at the Meikle Ferry roundabout and only 45 minutes north of Inverness, the Park is an ideal base for day trips and excursions in every direction.
