Redgates is conveniently situated just off the A719. The village of Maidens is on the north side of Turnberry overlooking Maidenhead Bay and boasts breathtaking scenery, including views of Ailsa Craig, and on a clear day, the Mull of Kintyre. There is a wealth of local attractions on our doorstep as well as excellent transport links with a bus stop at the entrance of the site. The park also features a right of way to the beautiful harbour and beach.
The park comprises of owner-occupied static caravans with mains facilities. A new serviced touring and camping site opened in 2013. All weather hard standing pitches are available as well as a carefully landscaped area for tents. Our superior new amenity block offers modern and accessible toilet and shower facilities and includes underfloor heating for your comfort and convenience. Laundry and dish-washing facilities are also available on site.
A range of services are available for residents including WiFi and a general convenience store is located on the periphery of the site. Recreation facilities are also on site including a children’s play area and football pitch.
Redgates is open for static caravans all year (Weekends only Nov – Feb) and for tourers and tents from March to the end of September.
As a family park, we understand that your pet is an important member of your family. That’s why we are pleased to be a dog-friendly holiday park and welcome up to two dogs per booking.

Our spacious park with first class, modern facilities is perfect for your caravanning or camping holiday in Ayrshire, Scotland.
For touring caravans, our pitches and facilities include:

Seasonal Pitches
We are delighted to offer all our customers with touring caravans the opportunity to purchase seasonal or long-stay pitches. These pitches give guests the freedom to come and go as they please from 1 March – 31st October.
This saves the hassle packing your caravan up each weekend and seasonal pitches are heavily discounted on regular touring rates. Please note, when using awning the groundsheet must be of the breathable variety and should be lifted at regular intervals to maintain the condition of the grass. Awnings must be used only when resident on the site and not left up in your absence.
Metered electricity consumed during season will be charged at the current rate per unit plus 5% vat.
As space is limited and seasonal pitches are in demand, a deposit of £250.00 is required to secure your space with the balance payable on or before 1st March. Reservation for these pitches can be made by telephoning our office or drop us an email with a time that suits and we will give you a call back.
Camping
Our coastal holiday park offers the ideal location to pitch your tent. The grounds have been carefully landscaped with a designated tent area to ensure a perfect pitch location.
A car-parking space is also available alongside your pitch and visitors benefit from the use of a superior new amenity block.
