Scotland is one of the world’s top mountain biking destinations and there is no better place to enjoy this adrenaline fuelled sport than at the highly rated 7stanes mountain biking centres.

Spanning the south of the country from the Scottish Borders to Dumfries & Galloway, each 7stanes centre offers a unique array of world-class trails, and a unique stone statue reflecting a local myth or legend.

In beautiful Dumfries & Galloway, experience the trails at Dalbeattie, Glentrool, and Ae. Rise to the challenge of the Black Crags route at Kirroughtree where you’ll be amazed by the huge slabs and ridges of exposed granite. The Purple Trail Lochbank loop at Mabie is ideal for riders with less technical ability and you can choose to race round as fast as you can or soak up the stunning views at a more leisurely pace. Head to the Scottish Borders and discover the outstanding Glentress and Innerleithen Freeride Park, or take on the short, fast routes at Newcastleton, which straddles the border between Scotland and England.

The 7stanes cater for all levels, so why not take your time along a forest track, or feel the exhilaration of a downhill trail? Whichever you choose, you’ll be guaranteed a great day out amongst some of Scotland’s finest forest scenery.
