Annandale Distillery was established in 1836 and reborn in 2014 following an extensive £10.5million restoration project. Once again single malt Scotch whisky is being produced in the region after almost a 100 year sleep.

The Pitscurry Project is a garden and café attraction in rural Aberdeenshire. Funded by the Pitcaple Environmental Project and run by Aberdeenshire Council, the extensive gardens and walkways are open to the public.
Castle Kennedy, now a romantic ruin is believed to have been standing in the 14th Century however there are sadly no surviving pictures, since the Castle and virtually all its contents were destroyed by fire in 1716.
