July sees the hottest acts around descend on T in the Park – a three-day outdoor music festival held annually in Kinross. Ever since its inception in 1994, it has boasted impressive line-ups which have featured Coldplay, Tom Jones and Kings of Leon.

January brings with it another superb event to the small town of Pitlochry, the Winter Words Festival. Nearly a decade old, this literary festival has grown over the year to become one of the highlights of Highland Perthshire’s cultural calendar.
