Day 1 & 2: Arrive Edinburgh: 5* Balmoral Hotel

The prestigious Balmoral Hotel combines the noble character of a Scottish baronial home with the classic sophistication of an international hotel. Ideally located in the heart of Edinburgh overlooking Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh Castle. Day 3: Edinburgh – Perthshire – 4* Ballathie House

Day 4 & 5: Perthshire – Inverness – 4* Culloden House

At the time of the Jacobite rising in 1745-46, Culloden House was requisitioned by Bonnie Prince Charlie and used as his lodging and battle headquarters prior to that fateful and final battle on Culloden Moor on 16th April 1746. Today, this handsome Palladian country house stands in nearly 40 acres where guests are free to wander about the elegant lawns and parkland to enjoy the exceptional peace, tranquility and majesty of the grounds. The interior features a wonderfully comfortable drawing room with magnificent Adamesque plasterwork, many fine antiques and a large open fire. Culloden House has two Rosettes for food and is a member of 'Taste of Scotland'.

 

Day 6: Inverness – Fort William – 5* Inverlochy Castle
Inverlochy is one of Scotland's finest luxury hotels, uniquely located amongst the glens, lochs and mountains of the west Highlands of Scotland. Day 7: Fort William – Loch Lomond – 5* DeVere Cameron House

Day 8: Departure
Unfortunately it is time to leave Scotland. Return to the airport and leave your car.
