Edinburgh Whisky Break
Details:
Enjoy a four day city break including a whisky-themed tour of the Scottish Highlands.
Edinburgh and Whisky is a perfect combination. The stunning nature of the Highlands, the magical atmosphere of Edinburgh and the taste of the Scottish Malt Whisky will fascinate you. Submerge yourself into the aroma of Scotland…
Programme:
Day 1: Time for a first impression of Edinburgh: City sightseeing tour to the most
famous of attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral, or
Holyrood Palace. In the evening you are personally invited to visit the private members club of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
Day 2: We recommend for today an interactive tour at the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre (not included in price), where you ride through whisky history in a whisky barrel and of course can enjoy a dram or two. Afterwards explore the lanes and cobbled streets of the Royal Mile.
Day 3: Day trip today into the breathtaking nature of the Scottish Highlands. The tour also includes visit at a whisky distillery.
Day 4: Opportunity for some last-minute shopping: There are many specialist shops
offering extensive assistance - simply take a taste of your favourite whisky back home.
