In days of old townsfolk would gather at the Mercat Cross to enjoy GRUESOME AND BLOODY ENTERTAINMENT Mercat Tours continues this age-old traditional with this TERRIFYING LATE NIGHT TRAIL. Your cloaked guide will lead you into HAUNTED UNDERGROUND VAULTS and then, for those brave enough, to a deserted moonlit graveyard. You will hear tales of the supernatural and the macabre. What gave off THE FOUL STENCH that greeted the Duke at his Edinburgh home? Why can voices be heard to this day in an empty guest-house room?
