Submit an event
To have your event featured on VisitScotland's online What's On calendar, please complete the fields in the form below.
Only one event should be submitted with each form. If you have multiple events to upload (e.g. 10+), please contact us as we have an alternative process to using the form below.
Event approval
Please note that all events are subject to approval and to be included, should appeal to VisitScotland’s target markets.
Examples of the types of events which will not be included are:
- Permanent attractions/exhibitions i.e. anything that runs all year round and/or does not have a fixed date, although we would include temporary exhibitions
- Community-targetted activites e.g. quiz nights, car boot sales, MPs surgeries, coffee mornings, badminton, yoga, public swimming and zumba classes etc.
- Baby and parent groups/ seniors activities
- Courses e.g. IT workshops, literacy classes

(Please note that your event's details are added to the database of our data agency, Global DataPoint and may be syndicated to other client websites and marketing outlets which subscribe to Global DataPoint's data feed.)
There is no charge to have your event listed and it will take up to 7 days for your event to appear on the What's On calendar.

The Year of Creative Scotland 2012 will showcase Scotland's world-class cultural and creative events, festivals and attractions. If you would like your event to be included in the promotion of this year, please read the guidelines for being included in the Partner Events Programme.
