Grab a piece of Scottish literary history

Old book of poetry by Robert Burns, Scotland's National BardIf you’re a fan of Robert Burns’ poetry – and let’s face it, who isn’t? – and happen to have around £35,000 burning a hole in your pocket, you’re in luck.

A very rare copy of Rabbie’s Kilmarnock Edition, the 1786 book of the bard’s work that made his name, comes up for auction in May. It’s reckoned that of the 74 surviving copies, only 12 are in private hands so you might not get another chance to own this icon of Scottish literature for a wee while.
