Dundee University ‘invents’ Dr Who’s sonic screwdriver

By jove the Scots have done it again, another invention to add to the long list. Move over Dr Who, the clever clogs at Dundee University have managed to create a sonic screwdriver that can move objects without touching them. This is going to change the way surgery is performed, apparently.

It goes to show that Dundee is fast becoming a ‘City of Science’, as well as the ‘City of Discovery’. If you’re paying a visit, make sure you check out Sensation, a fantastic science centre.
