Not too long ago, the¬†crew over at Food Republic published a (mostly) tongue in cheek article entitled ’11 Things to Know About Scottish Cuisine’. To form their list, they interviewed head chef Michael Smith¬†from the¬†acclaimed restaurant Three Chimneys. My three¬†favourites from the list:
1. Scottish cuisine obviously makes you stronger; haven’t you seen Highlander?
3. Whisky pairs well with everything. From breakfast (in your porridge) to dinner (flamb√©d salmon).
6. Haggis hunting is not really a sport in Scotland, it is a way of life.
