With a name like ‘Dull’ you would think that this little Perthshire village wouldn’t have much to recommend itself. But Local resident Elizabeth Leighton has discovered an unusual way for the village to potentially capitalise on its unfortunate name.
Plans are underway for Dull to become the ‘sister’ of the Oregon logging town of Boring. It is hoped this partnership will allow both communities to promote themselves as places worth visiting in spite of their less than inspiring titles and rainy weather.
