View Comments

There’s certainly one major positive about the extended cold weather we’ve been experiencing – the abundance of snow means we can enjoy skiing and snowboarding well into Spring!

A new video (courtesy of Ski Scotland and Cut Media) uploaded to our YouTube channel takes us on a road trip to explore our major ski centres and the various activities on offer. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, prefer outdoor conditions (Cairngorm) or indoor (Snow Factor at Braehead in Glasgow) the guys take you on a journey not to be missed.

So sit back and enjoy the video and if you get the chance – go out and enjoy the conditions this weekend!

Find out the latest latest snow conditions at our major ski centres. Alternatively, read up on the various snowsports activities we have to offer in Scotland.

I’ve just come back (18 Feb 2014) in disgust from Scotland after experiencing the amateur ski resort of Cairngorm where they have had too much snow so that only three or four of the lifts are operating in the busiest week of the year. No reductions in cost, no apologies for the pathetic condition of slopes and lifts. Anyone who has skied anywhere else, as I have, would find the set up lamentable. Good luck Scotland.
