Cambo House, an impressive Victorian country house, built in 1881, lies at the heart of a 1200 acre country estate and a stone's throw from the sea.
Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or an active break, Cambo has so much to offer that you can create the perfect holiday without leaving the estate. From the cosy, quirky Attic to the sumptuous West Wing Cambo House offers living in "the grand style", but with modern day comforts. The accommodation in the house has been transformed over the years to its present comfortable state, with many of its original features retained as reminders of the past.
Cambo offers a unique opportunity for groups of up to 45 to enjoy a historic house experience at a sensible cost.
East Wing (sleeps 8/10)
An enormous and very grand apartment with magnificent period furniture over looking the woods to the east offering glimpses of the sea beyond.
The East Wing has four spacious bedrooms. Two twin rooms a triple room and a double room with a stunning four poster bed. The large dining kitchen and elegantly furnished sitting room look out over the stunning lawns and beautiful Cedar tree, providing the luxury of child-minding from your window. A spacious shower room, bathroom with view over the golf course towards the sea and two w.c.s make up the accommodation of this handsome apartment.
East Wing can interconnect with West Wing to sleep 17.
West Wing (sleeps 8/10)
A very spacious and opulent apartment with magnificent period furniture over looking the parkland to the west and gardens to the south.
The West Wing has four spacious bedrooms. Two twin rooms and two double rooms, one of which features a unique four poster bed of carved oak, made from a Dutch altar of c1520.The large kitchen/dining room looks west over the parkland and the sitting room south over the garden. A wonderful bathroom, shower room and a w.c. complete this amazing apartment.
West Wing (sleeps 8) can interconnect with East Wing (sleeps 9) and is adjacent to Upper Servants (sleeps 4).
Lower Servants Wing (sleeps 4)
An elegant two bedroom wing with high ceilings and views to the west over the park.
Once a home to Cambo’s male servants this wing has been refurbished to provide elegant accommodation on the first floor. The accommodation comprises a spacious sitting room, one twin bedroom, one double bedroom, a large en suite shower room, a separate bathroom, an additional toilet and a dining kitchen.
Upper Servants Wing (sleeps 4)
A cosy but spacious two bedroom wing with views of the park and glimpses if the sea.
Originally the unusually spacious residence of the female servants of the house, a long row of servants bells ornaments the passage way.
Situated adjacent to West Wing it has one double room, one twin room, a dining kitchen, a bathroom, shower room and a w.c.
Orchard Suite (sleeps 2)
Spacious twin suite with kitchenette and quirky, one person reading room.
he Orchard is a west facing twin suite that looks out to the parkland and the ancient Lime tree that pre-dates the house. The suite is designed for two people and consists of a twin bedroom with en suite shower room and a sitting room. The sitting room has a kitchenette with a hob, sink and small fridge. The suite also features a unique one-chair sitting area in the tower facing south, a lovely tranquil place to enjoy a drink with a good book.
Mid Cottage (sleeps 2)
A cosy one bedroom farm cottage with south facing patio.
Originally traditional farm cottages, Mid, East and West Cottages share a peaceful view over fertile farmland with south facing patios to the front and small traditional gardens to the rear.
Ideal for dog owners, you can explore farm tracks or woodland walks to the Cambo Walled Garden and on to the sea. The cottages are located about 15 mins walk from Cambo House and only 5 minutes walk from Kingsbarns Visitor Distillery. A cosy retreat whatever the time of year, this cottage has a kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower and a bedroom with king size bed.
East Cottage (sleeps 4)

Cambo has a variety of great spaces to host your event and has hosted everything from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra with the East Neuk Festival to Zombie Apocalypse live theatre.
