Barley Cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom self-catering property refurbished in 2012 to a very high standard and located in a secluded location north east of Haddington, near the pretty conservation village of Athelstaneford in East Lothian.
The kitchen is a lovely bright room with a dining table and all the modern conveniences you will require; electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The large living room, like the kitchen, is south facing with views over the Garleton Hills. There is a woodburning stove with plenty of cut logs to keep you cosy. There is a flat screen LCD TV with DVD player and a CD player with radio and ipod dock.
The sleeping accommodation is located on the first floor. There are two double bedrooms, both with velcro link beds allowing them to be set up as twin or super king bedrooms. The third bedroom has bunkbeds.
There is a large bathroom downstairs and a shower room with underfloor heating upstairs.
The large, private garden is accessed through the living room and is enclosed for privacy and the safety of young children. There is a patio and lawn area with garden furniture and a barbeque provided.
A travel cot, highchair, stair gate, toys and other child friendly extras are available at no extra cost for our ‘wee’ guests.
All linen, towels, electricity, heating and services are included.
The cottage is strictly non-smoking but smoking is permitted in the garden.
We regret that, with the exception of guide dogs, no pets are allowed.
