Melfort Pier & Harbour is in a stunning location, right on the shores of one of the most beautiful sea lochs on the West Coast of Scotland where the Highlands come down to the sea. Do read our reviews on TripAdvisor.

We have 8 houses that are ACCESSIBLE for our less mobile guests. All on one level with large windows and patios overlooking Loch Melfort. Plenty of parking, ramps into the houses and roll in showers. We even have two houses with wet rooms, The Mermaid house and Boat House West.
We welcome TWO PETS per house.
If you want a rural and romantic destination, allied with comfort, service and stunning views, then Melfort Pier & Harbour is your BEST choice. All our houses are equipped with their own SAUNA, SPA BATH, all bath rooms are ensuite. Two or more TV's, FREE WIFI, gourmet kitchen, laundry facitlities, and most of them have LOG FIRES with a basket of fire wood. The houses are of Scandinavian design and are decorated in a manner that blend in with their natural surroundings. When you arrive, all the beds are made up and the towels ready for use. There is even toilet paper and bin bag.
We have two private BEACHES and there is FREE FISHING from our PIER. Bring you own KAYAK, RIB, sail boat or water plank.

We are only 16 miles south of OBAN, the gateway to the Isles, where there are 32 restaurants, good shopping and the Oban Whisky Distiilery.....also Oban Railway Station.

Via Stirling from Edinburgh: A84 from Stirling joining the A85 to OBAN
From Perth: East on the A85 to Oban
From Inverness & Fort William: A82 to Oban
From Glasgow take the Coastal Route A82 to Tarbet, then via A83 to Inveraray, Lochgilpead, follow A816 to Oban for about 21 miles. Then you pass the Loch Melfort Hotel, the Kilmeford Marina, then the next road to the left. Follow Melfort, then Melfort Pier. Our office is right on the single-track road.
From Oban we are 16 miles South on the A816, when you pass through Kilmelford, you see the sign Melfort, take a right. Follow Melfort Pier and our office is right on the single-track road.
