Mill Cottage
The village of Lower Largo is famed for being the birth place of Alexander Selkirk (the real Robinson Crusoe) and Mill Cottage is situated a short walk from the Crusoe statue which marks the spot where Selkirk was born and spent his early years before embarking on his adventures. A peaceful location with splendid views which extend through the viaduct and out to the sea. If you are lucky you will spot the nesting swans or kingfishers darting up & down the bray! The resting place of the original Largo mill stone lies at the tip of the garden acting as reference point for the site of the former mill. The entire property is included for rental with the rear shed providing secure and useful storage space for bicycles and golf clubs.
