Kestrel is lush yet the traditional byre walls offer a rustic feel which compliments the abundance of nature which surrounds Nether Glenny. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, sitting room and bedroom with King-sized bed. From the dining room, doors open on to a patio where you can soak up the views of the Lake of Menteith, read a book or enjoy a drink while the sun goes down. A wood burning stove, rich accessories and lush soft furnishings make this cottage really cosy. People are know to ‘fall in love’ with Kestrel. The bedroom sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and an infant bed / cot can be set up. Kestrel’s beautiful bathroom has a full bath, shower and underfloor heating.
The Trossachs is famous for its hiking, lochs, glens and mountains not to mention many famous landmarks such as Inchmahome priory and Stirling Castle, however here are Nether Glenny there is much to do and enjoy directly from the cottage. From the cottages guests can hike into the Menteith hills or even to Aberfoyle along forest paths. We offer farm tours at Nether Glenny when you can get up close and personal with our Highland Cows, pet sheep and pigs! Fancy a night by the fire and no cooking ?
