The Ship Inn is nestled in the historical village of Limekilns and is said to be the ‘watering hole’ featured in Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel ‘Kidnapped’.
The Ship Inn today is a family run business which prides itself in providing a warm relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy the views of River Forth, the 3 bridges and beyond, while sampling fresh locally produced home-made food and Real Ales. We are also very privileged to be supplied by a micro brewery in our village.
We serve lunches Monday to Saturday 12 noon till 2.30pm. Evening meals on a Friday and Saturday 6pm till 9pm and serve all day every Sunday from 12 noon 7pm.
Our menus provide a choice of starters, light bites and main courses which are all prepared to order. we specialise in fresh fish and seafood and offer daily specials and a delicious selection of home-made desserts.
