No matter where you are coming from, it's easy to find us. We are only 40 minutes from Glasgow and Prestwick airports and 90 minutes from Edinburgh.
From our base at Largs Yacht Haven, you can explore the sheltered waters of the Clyde, the awe-inspiring scenery of the Kyles of Bute and the majestic peaks of the Isle of Arran, or the old-world charm of the seaside resorts of Millport and Rothesay.
The area offers a huge variety of interesting passages and destinations, whether you are looking for the solitude of quiet anchorages or the bustle of busy fishing villages – the west coast of Scotland truly has it all. Make sure to take the time to enjoy spotting the many species of wildlife that frequent these waters – seals, porpoise, dolphins, whales and basking sharks to name but a few. Bird watchers will also have a field day with seabirds too numerous to mention, from the comical little guillemots to the spectacular diving gannets.
For, the more adventurous sailors, why not venture around the Mull of Kintyre and explore the Hebrides or plot a course across the North Channel to Ireland and Northern Ireland?
Combine your sailing holiday with other interests; golf, cycling, mountain biking, hill walking, climbing and diving are just some of the activities available to those who like to keep fit. If relaxing a bit more whilst on holiday sounds closer to your style, there are plenty of opportunities to visit whisky distilleries and places of historic interest or to catch some of the local music festivals and Highland games which take place in the summer months. We are happy to help you to keep everyone in the crew entertained. Just ask us for more details.
