We run three different types of classes, all practiced in a studio which is heated to around 34C (93F) which warms the muscles and allows them to stretch more easily than might be the case in a cold room. The heat also makes the class a tougher workout and most students work up a good sweat during the class.
Our three classes also offer a wide range of styles for our students:
Hot Yoga - this is our core class and is made up of individual poses, including standing, balancing and floor poses which give a full-body workout.
Hot Vinyasa - this is a dynamic flowing class where each pose is linked to the next with a 'vinyasa flow', a modified sun salutation which builds upper body strength. This is a very challenging class which builds strength and stamina as well as flexibility.
Hot Yin - in this class each pose is held for 3-4 minutes, stretching the deep and connective tissues rather than the muscles. This class releases built up tensions in the body and leaves you feeling deeply relaxed.
Our friendly, welcoming teachers are highly qualified and offer modifications to poses to allow each student to find their own maximum stretch. Our classes are suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced practitioners.
