We are on firm ground. Lauren Vidal, also from France, have already made an impact with their marbled and dipped crinkle tunics and dresses. Colours are midnight, indigo, taupe and cream. One little story from this fun and multi-faceted label!

From Schneiders, Salzburg, we have a fabulous choice, as always, of quality puffas, parkas and macs. The variety is amazing. The coveted textured coats, this time in blue and oaty tones, go well with the comfortable neutral trousers and chic pencil skirts. The new dirndl skirt and the joyously printed blouses mark this collection out as being one that is up to the minute.
Bitte Kai Rand, from Denmark, is true to form with a veritable alphabet soup of signature styling. Day dresses in printed crêpe and occasion wear in linen and silk chiffon rub alongside raucous cotton stretch sateen. Prints contrast vanilla, black and eau de nil in one pallet, heady reds, honey and clover in another. This great lifestyle label has something for everyone.

From Sweden, the Nygårdsanna collection of dresses and separates in sought after simplicity, are already heirlooms. Tailored stripes punctuate the peppering of subtle dash print lawn and the staple shot linens.
The Lilith Spring - Summer easily lives up to that reputation built over many wholesome years of trademark dressing. Despite changing hands recently, the handwriting is as true to Lilith as ever with plenty of temptation in the daytime suit department and party wear. A new to this country and arty collection from Portugal called T.M. Collections is theatrical and extraordinary. We await it with bated breath.
Mes Soeurs et Moi is not only a competitively priced collection from Belgium, it also crosses the age and size boundaries. This lovely easy wear, easy care collection does so in considerable style. Summery prints come in raspberry, blueberry, mint and fig. We love it! Mama-b too, is one of those. Jersey dressing cut the Italian way affords great comfort on many levels, stylish too.
Michèle, well known for working “magic” in their on trend trousers have added sharp little summery weekend skirts. Majestic, the best in feather light, soft touch and fine cotton and linen cardis, tees and tops, melange and solid, quietly disappear at the rate of knots. Shop early for sizes.
Lochcarron of Scotland scarves and bags have been especially well received, notably the indigo group of scarves in fine checks. Amèt and Ladoue, a well priced scarf range from France, continues to captivate and gather attention. The inspirational colour ways thrill and the stitchery holds us in awe. Beautiful leather bags by Anna Pugh round things off nicely.

Getting there by railway:- Edinburgh Waverley station is a 5 minute walk. Leave by the Waverley steps, cross Princes Street and take South St Andrew Street towards the Firth of Forth and enjoy the view until you arrive at our round shop on the corner of York Place!
