The 2-3 hour tour is a focus on architecture and history, takes you inside important buildings, and uses old photographs & drawings, and a wealth of information and facts, to bring the city alive for the visitor. The 'Heritage of Glamour' tour extends to approximately 4 hours with an emphasis on the city at the height of its success and style, & on the buildings and art of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. We visit the Willow tea rooms, Mackintosh's exquisite 1903 creation for Miss Cranston, the Queen of the Glasgow tea rooms, where tea/coffee, scone, cream & jam are included. The tour ends with an included glass of wine at Rogano, the city's most famous restaurant, opened in 1935 & designed as a homage to the art deco splendour of the transatlantic liner Queen Mary (£29.95pp).
