The small town of Fintry benefits from great views of the surrounding hills and woodlands and there are local walks through the woods and by the river, which has some great waterfalls. It is tucked between the Campsie Fells and the Fintry Hills.
There is a kirk which was rebuilt in 1823, a sports and leisure centre, bowling green and local shops as well as a range of accommodation for visitors. Nearby is the town of Balfron, the City of Stirling and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
