Ardgour House is situated on a secluded 3,000 acre estate on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula on the rugged west coast of Scotland. Nestled between steep hillsides and the shore of Loch Linnhe with stunning mountain views, it offers a wonderfully relaxed time away.
There’s lots of adventures to be had: Lochaber (with Fort William as part of that) is the outdoor capital of the UK! Glencoe and the skiing and biking area of Nevis Range are within easy reach. It’s also a hiker’s paradise, with Ben Nevis within easy reach and lots of Munros and Corbetts to bag locally.
Ardgour House provides wonderful opportunities for sea kayaking, and you might even be joined by some of the resident seals in the loch! There are good chances to see the elusive pine marten and otters.
The 5 minute Corran Ferry, just a short drive from Fort William, gives a wonderful sense of getting away. Ardgour House is only a further 30 minutes’ drive along stunning coastline and rural countryside.
Ardgour is kindly leased to Abernethy Trust by Geoff & Celia Burns and up until May 2020 it had operated as an outdoor centre. Booking this accommodation will help sustain our ministry and mission across our other centres. Traditionally the House has room for 32 guests: with Covid-19 guidelines, we are currently suggesting up to 6 adults (plus children under 12) from one household. Morrisons deliver here too!
Six night bookings only, arrive Friday from 4pm, depart by 9am Thursday. Dogs welcome!
