Craig Cottage nestles on the side of a hill overlooking Loch Torridon towards Diabaig and Beinn Alligan. The area is of interest to geologists, botanists and ornithologists. Ideal for leisure activities such as mountaineering, hill-walking, fishing, sailing, canoeing and diving. Spend the day relaxing and swimming at Sand Beach, a short drive along the coast towards Applecross.

Maybe your wish is to have a romantic escape or just to unwind and take life at a slower pace, relax and enjoy the views, chill out on the decking reading or just watching the world go by. Craig Cottage is an ideal base for trips further afield to Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Gairloch and Inverewe Gardens.

This is an area set in dramatic scenery, dominated by mountains, lochs and sea, well noted for its exceptional beauty, peace and tranquillity. What better way to end your day than to sit out on the decking with your glass of wine in hand, watching the herons at work, the otters, seal and occasionally dolphin or porpoise at play in the bay; spot the Sea Eagles as they hunt in the area.

If you are Sea Food lovers and wish to eat out then you will be spoiled for choice. You can sample crab, langoustines, squat lobsters & lobster, at The Applecross Inn, The Walled Garden Restaurant, Applecross. The Coastal Kitchen at Tigh an Eilean Hotel, Shieldaig.
