Crofters Retreat self catering accommodation Isle of Lewis is the perfect escape for two Nestled within the old cobbled stone courtyard at Galson Farm with sea & coastal views towards the North Atlantic Ocean. Sleeping two in a luxury King size bed within an open plan lounge/sleeping area with cosy seating Smart HD TV, free Wi-Fi, separate kitchen, shower room, gardens with outdoor seating & parking. 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Escape to the Outer hebrides & enjoy a stay with a difference in this unique coastal self catering accommodation for two on the north west coast of Lewis the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Lewis & Harris or cycling the Hebridean way. Sleeping two in a sumptuous Kingsize bed within a cosy open-plan sleeping & lounge space you can snuggle on the sofa, watch your smart TV, there is excellent Wi-Fi, garden views & heating throughout. The separate fully equipped kitchen/diner has everything you need to cook your meals with a oven, hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, dining table & chairs also a welcome pack on your arrival The Shower room has a walk in electric shower, heated towel rail, wash basin, WC. Luxury toiletries, towels & dressing gowns are all provided Converted from the old barn & nestled in the old cobble-stone courtyard at Galson Farm with it's own private entrance, parking, outdoor seating & access to the walled garden with views towards to Atlantic ocean. With the Guesthouse next door we are always there to help & you can order drinks, breakfast or our Sunday Sharing Platter. The farm is now a working croft so if you wish to experience croft life you can meet the sheep with their lambs or take a stroll around Croft 19 & watch summer sunsets, with seating throughout why not take a picnic. From the doorstep just 5 minutes walk is direct access to the beach which is perfect for those that enjoy coastal walking, see the rugged coastline of Lewisean gneiss (some of the oldest rock formations in the world) & sandy coves, seabirds, wildlife or be lucky enough to spot otters or the sea eagles soaring overhead. North West Lewis offers a good selection of places to eat, drink & shop. A short drive takes you to the Butt of Lewis lighthouse, the golden sands of Eoropie beach, Port of Ness with its pretty harbour & stunning beach, the beautful little cove at Port Stoth, Ness Museum, & the Ballantrushal single standing stone. The Callanish Stones, Gearrannan Blackhouse Village & Uig are all on the west coast within easy reach & with Harris just 1 hour away you can make it a day trip. With all of this to see & do you may want to stay a little longer so we do offer a discount on weekly stays. Don't forget it is always best to book direct for the lowest prices!

By road from Stornoway take the A857 North to Barvas approx 12 miles then continue on the road following the signs right to Ness. Galson Farm is approx 8 miles ahead and is signposted on the main road as you enter South Galson.

From Stornoway bus staion take the W1 to Ness. Approx 20 miles North is South Galson
