Grantown Golf Club – A beautiful 18 hole golf club
Anagach Woods – There are miles of woodland walks in these community owned woodlands. The longest waymarked route is the red route which is 5.5 miles.
Town Square and High Street – We have a wonderful town square and high street, with lots of independent shops and cafes, as well as stunning architecture dating back to the 1760s. Follow the Grantown Trail Map around our historic town.

Viewpoint Walk –The walk takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Highland Kilt Makers – Visit a traditional Highland Kilt Maker’s shop in our High Street.
High Street Merchants – Art gallery featuring many local artists. Also serves great coffee!
Craggan Outdoors – For the adventurous, activities include archery, par 3 golf, foot golf, disc golf, kayaking, gorge walking, and many others.
The Old Cemetery – Fascinating to visit this old cemetery right on the River Spey.
Mountain Bike Trails – Hire mountain bikes from BC Bikes in the Town Square
Fishing and Walking on the River Spey – Starting high in the Cairngorms and going out to sea at Spey Bay (172km long), the River Spey is is important for salmon fishing and whisky production.
Old Spey Bridge – Built in 1754 as part of the military road from Coupar Angus to Fort George (near Inverness) and damaged in the big flood of 1829, it is a lovely bridge closed to vehicles.
Grantown East – Built at the site of the old Grantown East railway station, this is a cultural and heritage centre with a lovely café in the original rolling stock. Great pizzas from a proper pizza oven!
