The Gate Lodge stands at the entrance to Kames Estate and sleeps two guests in one double bedroom. One of our most popular cottages it is ideal for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. The Gate Lodge is located in 20 acres of grounds, including an 18th Century walled garden and glasshouse. A number of facilities are available for guest use including a tennis court, small putting green, football goals and croquet in the walled garden.

The Gate Lodge is a stone’s throw from the sea. With a large lawned area around the property and wonderful views over Kames Bay and the Kyles of Bute, it is little wonder that this cottage is a favourite with couples looking for a peaceful getaway. The cottage sleeps two guests in one double bedroom. All accommodation, including bathroom with over-bath shower, is located downstairs. The cottage boasts modern and comfortable accommodation and benefits from washing machine, microwave, DVD player and free WiFi. A log burner is located in the living room and logs are provided. A high chair and travel cot are available on request. The cottage is located in 20 acres of grounds, including an 18th Century walled garden. A number of facilities are available for guest use including a tennis court, small putting green, football goals and croquet in the walled garden.
