Moinadh is an oasis of peace and tranquility with panoramic sea views and spectacular sunsets over the Mull of Kintyre. This traditional white-washed Arran cottage is full of charm and character and provides an idyllic holiday home. Surrounded by large grassed garden and grassy fields, it has a feeling of space and seclusion, although it's within easy reach of the village amenities.
The self catering holiday accommodation provides spacious modern living with all the comforts of home. Many of the rooms face due south, capturing the natural light and warmth of the sun. The stone barn extension contains a large lounge room with deep sofas, a log burning stove and Sky TV. The sun room is a delightful retreat where you can watch the wildlife and spectacular sunsets over the sea. There is also an extra snug/TV room where the children can have their own space. Moinadh will appeal to families looking for a relaxing holiday and also to golfers and walkers on active breaks.
Outside, the gardens are enclosed and safe for children to play, with a paved patio, garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. There is an enclosed a dog kennel available for guest pets, if required.
The bird feeding station attracts many types of birds and the garden is alive with bird song. This quiet, undisturbed area is a haven of tranquility and is home to a wealth of wildlife, including seals, otters, raptors and a large number of sea birds. You may also see a rare white pheasant passing through the fields.
A short stroll leads to the amenities of Blackwaterfoot, a former fishing village clustered around a tiny harbour, just big enough for 2 or 3 boats. The village has a friendly, 'laid-back' atmosphere and is self-contained with a grocer, post office and butcher and the local hotel has a bakery with fresh morning rolls. There is also a garage for petrol and cycle hire.

1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person can be hired at a cost of £50 per week or short break (based on a full house) and should be ordered either when booking or from the manager no later than 4 weeks prior to your holiday.
