One of the oldest houses in this stunning, tranquil part of Scotland's West Coast, Tigh-na-Sith is now available for self-catering holidays throughout the year. Three bedrooms, full central heating, TV, wi-fi, a large garden with bbq and bird feeders, off-road parking for three family cars and the Atlantic Ocean right on the doorstep, all providing access to a range of activities from genteel to exhilarating. Tigh-na-Sith is a three bedroomed Victorian stone villa offering fully refurbished self-catering accommodation which, whilst completely updated, retains much of the character of the original house. One of the oldest houses on the Island of Seil, in a paradise position, Tigh-na-Sith offers calm and relaxation that will be just right for you.

A short stroll from the island's pub and the world famous Clachan Bridge, you have natural bird, land and water wildlife on the doorstep; a challenging 9 nine-hole coastal golf course 5 minutes drive away; fishing; sailing; kayaking and canoeing; cycling; walking; jogging and seasonal swimming all nearby; a fully stocked local shop beside the golf course and many local points of historic and touring interest in the immediate vicinity including other beautiful local islands. There are also extraordinary landscapes for painters and artists at the front door!

With a three-car driveway, a large garden and a fabulous location - the Atlantic Ocean is right outside your window, Tigh-na-Sith provides the perfect spot for rest, recuperation, rejuvenation and enjoyment of exhilarating activities alike. You can even enter the World Stone Skimming Championships held every September on neighbouring Easdale! First class seafood is also close at hand as is the 18th century Oban Distillery, open all year round, for a little taste of the spirit of Scotland.

Directions

Just off the A816 from Oban to Kilmelfort and Lochgilphead, Tigh-na-Sith is situated on the B844 on the Island of Seil, about 1 mile from the world famous Clachan Bridge.

Mainline trains run from all parts of Scotland to Oban from where it is possible to take a taxi to the house or there is a local bus which runs several times per day to the island. Local car hire in Oban is also available and there are flights into and out of Oban Airport in North Connel.
