Caird Park is an outstanding 'pay and play' course set in extensive parkland on the northern outskirts of Dundee. Suitable for beginners and seasoned players, the course is both accessible and affordable and boasts beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It was once heralded as one of the busiest courses in Europe.
Opened in 1923 Caird Park is an easy walking course surrounded by avenues of trees and views north to the Sidlaw Hills. It is a wonderful parkland track, rather easy to score on the first few holes, but increasing in difficulty as the layout progresses towards the middle section of the course (holes 7-13). The 243-yard 12th hole is a particular test, whilst the back 9 cross the Gelly Burn four times!
Caird Park also boasts a testing 9-hole course and a Golf Simulator which offers the chance to test your skills on no fewer than 46 courses from around the world, including Gleneagles, The Old Course, St Andrews, The Belfry and Pebble Beach!
