Tarbert, an ancient settlement and castle originating prior to the 13th century, is a naturally sheltered harbour (not tidally restricted) at the heart of the picturesque heritage fishing village on Loch Fyne. The village has good accommodation, shops and restaurants and, additionally, the Harbour Authority offers commercial and leisure services within our busy port from where the CALMAC Ferry operates between Portavadie. The south side of the Harbour is home to the time-honoured Tarbert TT Fishing Fleet while the Marina is situated on the north side, providing sheltered berthing with pontoon electricity and water and a new shower wing with toilet, clothes washing and drying provision.
