Deanston Distillery tour, enjoy two Drams after your tour and then off to the Canal Inn Camelon to for a traditional Scottish Hauf & a Hauf while you soak up the character of this pub, here since 1824.
We head towards Stirlingshire and Deanston Distillery a former cotton mill with an ingenious story of conversion to a distillery where they’ve been making something very special since 1965!You’ll head for the distillery tour and see the remarkable journey from heavy industry to joyous whisky making and you’ll enjoy two Drams of Deanston’s finest whisky! From Deanston we head to Bridge of Allan and Woodwinters Wine & Whiskies Merchants for a fun nosing and tasting experience. Then it’s onto the town of Camelon, home of the now silent Rosebank Distillery and home to the world renowned Falkirk Wheel, where time permitting you’ll have the chance of a close up viewing and some photographs before we head to the Canal Inn – a cracking Scottish Pub, which has been here since the early 1820’s and has a great history of its own. Known locally as “The War Office” (ask a local!), you’ll enjoy a complimentary “Hauf and a Hauf” – a classic Dram of whisky with a half pint beer chaser.We relax here for about 30 minutes and you can enjoy more beer and drams (at own expense) during this time before we board the Dram Fine Whisky Tour bus and head back to your agreed drop off point.Cost £55 per person includes Distillery admission, Drams and all transport
