Getting there by railway:- Regular train service between Perth and Birnam.

Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports head north to the city of Perth. Then take the A9 northbound for 14 miles/ 22km to reach Dunkeld. Take the waymarked Birnam Walk described in the excellent Dunkeld and Birnam Walks leaflet.

Getting there by ferry:- From the port of Rosyth head north on the M90 to reach Perth. Then take the A9 northbound for 14 miles/22km to reach Dunkeld. Take the waymarked Birnam Walk described in the excellent Dunkeld and Birnam Walks leaflet.
