Set in a conservation area in the city centre, the apartment is on the first and second floor of a Victorian property, with it's own private entrance. It looks onto the Old High Church, part of which dates back to the 14th century, and is close to Dunbar's Hospital, built in 1668.
The apartment has a large, bright living room, dining kitchen, twin bedroom and shower room on the first floor. On the second floor there is a large double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a second shower room. There is wifi throughout, and television with freeview in the living room and the double bedroom. With double glazing and central heating, we think you'll find it very comfortable, bright and spacious, and really convenient for exploring Inverness and around the Highlands in all directions.
Although in the city centre, the apartment itself is peaceful and relaxing with views across to the church and the hills beyond. A two minute walk takes you down to the River Ness, where you can stroll along to the Ness Islands. The bridges allow you to wander from one side to the other, enjoying the surroundings. Keep a look out for a heron or two, or even an otter if you're lucky! Inverness Castle, and the Viewing Tower are only an easy ten minute stroll away, as are many other attractions, such as the Museum and Art Gallery,
You won't have far to go from the apartment for a quick snack through the day, with an organic vegetarian cafe across the road, and an ice cream parlour and deli next door. Further along the street there are several restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes.
It's worth looking into Leakey's Bookshop just across the road, too. This is one of Scotland's largest second-hand bookshops and is housed in the old Gaelic Church (1793). There is usually a cosy wood burning fire on as well!
Hootananny bar is a good place to visit to hear traditional music sessions, as is MacGregor's bar. Both are just a three minute walk away. For other music tastes, there is always a varied programme at Eden Court Theare and Cinema and The Ironworks closeby.
Everything is on your doorstep. Enjoy a glass or two of wine with your meal at one of the many restaurants, without worrying about driving back.
There is limited street parking available, and a multi-storey carpark a four minute walk away.
