Banchory Lodge Hotel sits next to the world famous Salmon Fishing River, the Dee and enjoys an enviable location just next to the small town of Banchory, but only a 25 minute drive away from the business areas of Aberdeen.

For the business traveller, this small hotel is a haven of peace in a busy world, why not enjoy the River views whilst you catch up on a few e mails, with a beer and casual food in our bar.

For the leisure traveller, this small and friendly hotel make the perfect place to base yourself and enjoy the Castle Trail or Whisky Trail, the delights of Royal Deeside, and return to the hotel for one of their legendary afternoon teas.

For those with sport in mind, Fishing, Shooting and great Golf are all within easy reach of the hotel, please email us for details. There are several golf course in the vicinity of the hotel especially Banchory Golf Club which is 2 minutes away. Aboyne Golf Club is 15 minutes away. We are 45 minutes drive from Trump International Golf Links at Balmedie

The 28 rooms are all ensuite, and each one has its own style. Many of the rooms have amazing views out to the River Dee and countryside beyond. We also have three 4 poster rooms and a number of spacious family rooms.

We have an award-winning restaurant offering a varied menu, and specialise in menus incorporating the best of local Scottish produce. We work with as many local food and drink suppliers wherever possible and our menus change seasonally. You can choose to eat in the bar, the restaurant, or in one of our private dining rooms.

The hotel can cater for conferences, family celebrations and weddings in our function suite with views to the River Dee and steps out to the gardens.
