Baron House Bed & Breakfast near Stirling, is located in the breath taking country side close to the picturesque village of Buchlyvie.
Baron House was originally a traditional cow barn which was converted in 2014 to provide a family run bed and breakfast in a rural location. Our guests love the scenery and panoramic views over the hills and Ben Lomond one of the most popular Munros. From the garden you will see a variety of wildlife including rabbits, roe deer, heron, red kite, and buzzards.
We want your stay to be as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. We pride ourselves on our hospitality and facilities whether you are just staying for one night, or several, we want you to feel welcome.
Our location is very central - less than an hour away from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and some 13 miles from Stirling. An ideal base whether you want to visit the many tourist attractions in central Scotland including Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, Loch Lomond or the Falkirk Wheel. Or if you want to stay closer to home there is much to do locally walking, climbing, fishing, pony trekking or golfing in the nearby Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.
It is possible to walk from Baron House, via public footpaths through beautiful country side all the way to the village of Aberfoyle in the Queen Elizabeth Forest which is well known for walking and mountain biking. Visit the newly refurbished Lodge Forest Visitor Centre or ride one of the longest zipwires in the UK at Go Ape, Aberfoyle.
