Aviemore is an excellent basecamp for the varied outdoor leisure experiences to be found in the Cairngorm National Park including canoeing, hill climbing, pony trekking, cycling, gliding, quad biking, ice climbing, gorge walking, mountain biking, rafting and of course skiing. Cairngorm and The Lecht ski areas are easily accessible (a 20- and 40-minute drive respectively). First Floor Apartment: Accessed via a communal entrance and stairway. The open plan lounge/ kitchen/ dining area consists of 2 sets of French doors both opening to Juliette balconies. The lounge has ample seating with 2 x 2-seater settees, beanbag chair and a feature chair and footstool, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, free Wi-Fi internet access and an iPod docking station. The open plan kitchen is equipped with an electric double oven/ grill and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, nespresso machine, electric kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils and plenty of pots and pans. The master bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets with lights, en-suite shower room, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers with mirror and hairdryer. The second bedroom has two single beds, bedside cabinets with lights, fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers with mirror. There is a single pull out bed available to use in this room suitable for an additional child. The family bathroom consists of a separate shower, bath, WC and basin. The utility room has a sink, washing machine and clothes dryer. The outside is equipped with a bike lockup area and shared outside garden and drying facilities. Underfloor heating throughout with temperature control in each room. Guests have access to the entire property. We are the booking agent for the owners and can be contacted at our office in Dingwall during the following hours Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00 and Saturdays 9:30 - 12:00 prior to your arrival. Prior to your arrival we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay. Located in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, this apartment is a perfect basecamp for pursuing outdoor activities or relaxing with a book overlooking Aviemore and the surrounding area. Aviemore and the surrounding area is a haven for wildlife. There are many different types of animals that can be found in this area, such as: Wildcat’s, Red Squirrel, Red Deer, Bottlenose Dolphin, Capercaillie’s, Lynx and Adder Snakes just to name a few. A car is recommended when staying in the Highlands, however (depending on what you are planning), this is not a necessity. There is a bus station in Aviemore within a 15-minute walk from the property. Taxis operate 24 hours of the day. No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM – 10 PM. Check out time is 10 AM. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave, we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies includes toilet rolls, complimentary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.
