Hartfield House is a Visit Scotland 4* hostel in Applecross. Set back from the North Coast 500 route, the hostel stands at the foot of the Bealach-na-Ba mountain pass. It sleeps 31 people in a mix of single, double, twin, triple and dorm rooms. Hartfield House hostel can be booked on an individual bed basis, or on exclusive use for groups. Adjacent is an 18 bed bunkhouse which can also be booked together with the hostel if there are large groups or wedding parties.

Visit Scotland 4* Hartfield House hostel is set back from Applecross bay, and the North Coast 500 route, and stands at the foot of the Bealach-na-Ba mountain pass. Located on the Applecross Estate with a backdrop of some magnificent mountains, Hartfield House sleeps up to 31 people in the main hostel, with a separate bunkhouse sleeping 18 people which can be booked separately. There are hot showers, restful common areas, a dining hall, laundry, covered area for bikes, kit store, free WiFi, small tuck shop, large garden and parking. Hartfield House hostel benefits from being on the doorstep of excellent hiking and mountain bike routes, as well as being only a five minute walk to the beach.

A village shop, and award-winning restaurants are a 15-20 minute walk or five minutes in the car.

Hartfield House also benefits from a large function hall which can be booked for weddings, events and parties.It can accommodate up to 100 people seated and has large double doors onto the garden.

Prices start from £25pppn. Infants (0-2) are free of charge and travel cots can be provided. Children (2-15) from £15.

We welcome dogs in their own bed. There is a £10 charge payable on arrival to cover the additional deep cleaning. Please contact the hostel manager to arrange.

Hartfield House hostel is ideal for individuals and group bookings, those who love the outdoors, or those on the NC500 route. It is open throughout the year, closing only on 5 January - 29 February 2020 for improvement works and to prepare for the coming season.
