Loch Doon Caravan and Camping Park is a small committee run, family and pet friendly park. Welcoming you to come and enjoy the natural beautiful surroundings and wildlife. As close to wild camping or caravanning with the security and comforts of an enclosed park.
The park has up to 50 hardstanding pitches all with electric hook-up to accommodate touring caravans, motorhomes and camper-vans. Separate grass area for tents. All pitches / camping area has spectacular views of the loch and Carrick hills.
Basic facilities of drinking water, waste and chemical waste disposal facilities are conveniently placed around the park, note: there are currently no toilet or shower block facilities available but this is something we are working towards.

At only £15.00 per night including electrical hook-up for caravans, motorhomes etc or £7.00 per night for tents its affordable holiday location for everyone. Discounted rates for site members, long stayes and if you are a Scottish Motorhomers and Caravanners valid card member.
There are lots of attractions and activities you can do on and around the loch. This is a very popular area for nature walks, Ness Glen being one or hiking over the Carrick hills. If water sports are more of an interest, you can relax by the loch fresh water fishing and catch some lovely brown trout or try kayaking amoungst other activitiesat the Craigmalloch Outdoor Activity Centre further down the loch.
Within a few miles or short drive from the park you can visit Loch Doon Castle approximately 7 miles further down the loch, Osprey viewing at the Roundhouse Café, or end your day with a visit to the Scottish Dark Sky Observatory, one of only 8 in the UK and view the night sky through the eye of a telescope.
