Situated on a private lane near the heart of Comrie, No.1 Pudding Lane offers comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 6 people. While located in the traditional heart of the village, it feels extremely private with beautiful views across the rooftops of the village andoutwards towards the Scottish Highlands.
This newly renovated property is individually owned and ideal for both summer and winter holidays. The secluded garden is ideal for summer barbeques, with extensive mature planting, a patio and private parking for two cars. In winter the central heating system and two wood burning stoves add atmosphere and a distinct sense of luxury.
The building combines the character of the original cottage, which dates from 1790, with new contemporary spaces, including a striking timber and glass tower. This provides both a high level of convenience and an inspiring atmosphere in which to relax.
The tastefully decorated interior is warm and cosy and has the unique feeling of a private house rather than a conventional holiday home, with an intriguing collection of books, pictures and photographs.
The accomodation comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, shower room, twin bedroom and dining room, with wood burning stove, on the ground floor. The dining room has large windows looking on to the secluded garden and also a staircase to the studio - a glass and wood pannelled viewing tower with fantastic views on to the hills beyond Comrie. The first floor boasts a spacious master bedroon with king-size bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom, and also a comfortable lounge with wood burning stove, TV and DVD player. A third bedroom, with twin beds is on the top floor.
There is parking for two cars to the rear of the garden.

Located in the centre of Scotland, this small conservation village in highland Perthshire is an ideal location for a wide range of outdoor activities.
Comrie lies at the meeting point of three rivers, the area has been occupied since prehistoric times and was once the setting for one of the most northerly forts in the Roman Empire. Easily accessible from the south, it makes an excellent holiday destination both in its own right and as a base for touring.
The village caters for all needs with a range of shops including a bakery and a delicatessen. There are two hotels catering for non-residents, a small restaurant and an attractive café.
One of the most attractive aspects of the village is its numerous marked walking trails, allowing the visitor to explore rivers, gorges and forests on the edge of the Highlands. For the more adventurous, the local Munro (Scottish mountains over 3000ft) Ben Chonzie can be climbed from the cottage and there is a range of hills and mountains to suit all abilities.
