The Old Convent has 4 apartments which has been renovated to a very high standard. Set in the picturesque village of Fort Augustus at the south end of Loch Ness, geographically the centre of the Highlands, perfect for touring the area.

No.1 is a one bedroom ground floor apartment, No.2 is a one bedroom ground floor apartment. No.3 is a one bedroom apartment on the first floor and No.4 is a two bedroom apartment also on the first floor with both bedrooms opposite each other upstairs. The property has been lovingly and sympathetically renovated retaining some of the original features but adding some modern touches such as central heating, double glazing and insulation!

All the apartments are very spacious with large bedrooms, all double beds are kingsize. No.1 has a large walk in shower, No.2 has a slipper bath and separate shower set into a granite stone archway. No.3 has a 'P' shaped bath with shower, No.4 has a separate shower and luxury roll top bath. Towels and linen provided. All the living rooms have great views of the surrounding countryside, with a very comfy suite for watching some of the selection of DVD's on the 32" TV/DVD player. The very spacious kitchen/ dining rooms are fully equipped including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave.

Fort Augustus on the southern tip of Loch Ness is geographically the centre of the Highlands and we think a gem of a village, not only is the village beautiful it is interesting with the Caledonian canal running through the centre and has all the facilities you could need. Petrol station, grocery store, PO, restaurants/pubs, craft shops and bank. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery with an abundance of wildlife and the odd castle or two!

Maps and brochures are provided plus we are local and are very happy to help with directions and advice on places to visit.
