Oban Seil Farm is the best kept secret in Scotland. where else will you find waterfront and hills in one property. This is the perfect place to do nothing and sit and stare into distant islands or to get your walking shoes on and do some amazing walks from your back door. If you have boats or kayaks please bring them to our pontoon where you can set off on some epic sails around the island. Or take your book down to the shore,find yourself a good spot and start reading until it is time to start the barbecue.

Oban Seil Farm is a beautiful gem of 100 acres hill farm with waterfront. We look over the water to the south and on top of the hills behind our farm you can see over 30 islands on a clear day. Our waterfront has safe and private pontoons for your boats or kayaks as well as a barbecue and a long table for those sunny endless days on the shore.

We have converted the steadings into three very comfortable and beautiful houses. Each with fully equipped kitchens, two bedrooms upstairs and sitting/dining room downstairs and everything you need for a great holiday. Each house sleep four people. We also have a small Bothy set a bit away from the farm, If you are only two of you, and want everythng on one level, then the Bothy is your answer to a fantastic holiday.

Seil island is part of the Slate Islands In times gone by, we supplied slate to roof the World and the small cottages in the villages on the island were built for the slate workers. Take your time to acclimatise and meander around this hidden secret . Close by, you can visit Luing and Easdale Island and a bit further afield you will find Kilmartin with the richest concentration of prehistoric monuments in Scotland. Here, there is plenty to do and see, and also plenty of space to do nothing.

We are delighted to share our beautiful place with our guests. This is a perfect place to come and unwind and relax or go for walks and see the many attractions we have to offer.
