A pair of beautiful luxury couples self catering cabins with all glass frontages, large private decking areas and stunning elevated Atlantic views. Perfectly located for exploring the Applecross peninsula, Torridon Mountains and the village of Shieldaig.
Sildvik and Sunset cabins are a pair of beautifully appointed luxury couples self catering cabins with incredible uninterrupted views over Loch Torridon and Shieldaig Island. The cabins enjoy a stunning unique location and with an all glass frontage and a large private decking and balcony area to fully enjoy the incredible landscape in which they sit.
The cabins are stylishly decorated with nods to their Highland and Maritime heritage combined with the simplicity of Nordic design. They enjoy full ensuite toilet and shower rooms, full equipped kitchens with induction hobs, Samsung Smart oven and microwave, fridge/freezer, underfloor heating and Samsung Smart TVs with wifi and Netflix account.
The cabins are equipped with a large double bed with high quality linen and towels. The lounge area enjoys incredible views over Shieldaig Island and its' resident pair of White Tailed Sea Eagles, which you can expect to see flying above your cabin on most days. Provided in the cabin is a vinyl record player and a selection of records, bluetooth speaker, headphones and wildlife binoculars so you can fully immerse yourself in the landscape and environment from the comfort of your cabin.
The cabins are located within the beautiful, historic fishing village of Shieldaig. You can purchase world class shellfish from the day boats of the Shieldaig fishing fleet to enjoy in your cabin or outside on your decking. Within a 5 minute walk of the cabins is the Coastal Kitchen Seafood Restaurant and pub, the famous and fantastic Nanny's coffee shop, the most incredible artisan hand smoked smoked salmon from Loch Torridon Smokehouse and a great well stocked village shop.
Fancy something a little more adventurous?! The guys at Shieldaig Outdoor Adventures can get you on (or in?!) the water, scale one of the numerous incredible Torridon Mountains or introduce you to some of our amazing local wildlife. With an abundance of fantastic hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, kayaking and climbing all within a 15 minute drive - the cabins are the perfect base for a break enjoying the outdoors, romantic meals and amazing food and drink.
With three night weekend stays (Fri-Mon) or 4 night mid week stays (Mon-Fri) of full week stays you can choose a short stay or longer whichever suits you.
