Shingle Bay Cottage is a modern, open plan, two bed cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location a few minutes drive from the village of Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle. It is a short walk down to the shores of the tidal Nostie Bay and Loch Alsh. A great base from which to explore Lochalsh, the Isle of Skye, Plockton and the hills of Kintail. Sleeps four and FREE Wi-Fi.

Shingle Bay Cottage is a modern, two bed, open plan cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location a few minutes drive from the village of Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle. It is a short walk down to the shores of the tidal Nostie Bay and Loch Alsh. A great base from which to explore Lochalsh, the Isle of Skye, Plockton and the hills of Kintail.

The area offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, fishing, bird and wildlife watching, cycling, horse riding, sailing, cruises and diving. There is a local shop and post office two miles away in Reraig with further shops and facilities eight miles away at Kyle of Lochalsh. Inverness and Fortwilliam are approx 1.75hrs drive.

Loch Alsh is tidal so you never know what view you are going to wake up to, either a dry shoreline where you can take a long stroll along or with the tide in when you can launch your own kayak or canoe.

Shingle Bay Cottage has under floor heating through out and sleeps a total of four people accommodated all on the ground floor in a double (super-king bed) and a twin room. Bathroom with Bath & Power Shower. It has an open plan lounge, dining-room & fully equipped kitchen with nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge-freezer & dishwasher. Free WI-FI . The Lounge is designed with three large windows facing east to let guests sit back and relax while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Mountains & Glen or maybe spotting our small roe deer that frequently appear just outside. Excellent Location for Bird Watching !! Please note the cottage is a non smoking property. We do not allow children under the age of 10. We are sorry but we do not accept pets.
