In the heart of the west mainland of Orkney the Smithfield is situated in the village of Dounby, this family run hotel is surrounded by many archaeological sites, RSPB reserves and well stocked brown trout lochs.

The Smithfield is in a perfect location only a 15 minutes drive from Kirkwall & Stromness and an ideal place to stay and relax whether it be for business or pleasure.

The hotel has 6 bedrooms; 1 family, 2 double and 2 twin rooms all en-suite and 1 single room with private shower.

The rooms have been recently refurbished to an excellent 3 star standard and all the rooms are non smoking, have colour TV with Freeview, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and WIFI throughout.

Bed and Breakfast is from £42.00 per person per night.

Single occupancy supplement of a double or a twin room (subject to availability) is £50.00

The restaurant is open daily and uses Orkneys finest produce while offering a comfortable and homely atmosphere, view sample menu here.
