The Lazy Duck is an elemental retreat on the edge of Nethy Bridge, offering guests a chance to pause, restore, and reconnect with nature, and themselves. With woodland huts, a cottage, co-working space, and wellbeing facilities, it blends simplicity and style, providing the foundation for a calming break and opportunity to slow down from every-day life.

Accommodation
Guests can choose from three romantic two-person huts, a four-person bunkhouse, or a more conventional five-person cottage. The huts and bunkhouse are intentionally rustic. Water is carried, shower water is heated on a stove and poured into a bucket, and compost toilets are part of the experience. This “almost off-grid” approach is designed for those who value reconnection, adventure, and wellbeing.

Beyond the Huts
The Lazy Duck is building a broader role: a co-working space (Head|Space) for those blending escape with occasional work, a new sauna (Toast), and breathing space, a wellbeing studio connecting visitors to local therapists and practitioners. Our polytunnel, used by local florist, reflects the wider aim of weaving community and creativity into the fabric of the site.
