We welcome all of our guests at Cuan Mor with open arms and a warm, friendly smile. Our restaurant and bars are creatively designed using only natural and reclaimed Scottish materials, such as Ballachulish slate and greenheart timber beams from the lighthouse pier. We have created individual pieces which contribute to creating a unique and charismatic highland venue.
The heart of Cuan Mor is our busy front bar and restaurant. We pride ourselves on the ambience we have created in the restaurant/bar, with its natural materials and stunning view over Oban Bay. However the ambience wouldn't be enough without good home-cooked food, which is what we serve at Cuan Mor all through the day. Portions are good, food is fresh and delicious and there is a wide choice to suit all tastes and budgets. We have a very good local trade which is always a good sign...
You don't have to have a meal here to enjoy our surroundings - we also serve tea and coffee and have a well stocked bar.
We like to keep it local at Cuan Mor, so we have selected many of the finest local beers, real ales and whiskies, to compliment our extensive selection of locally sourced produce in our restaurant.
Cuan Mor also has its own brewery - The Oban Bay Brewery - where we brew four types of ale, available both casked and bottled. The brewery has its own bar, the Brewery Bar which has a selection of approximately 100 whiskies, as well as the usual selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Finally, if you want to hold a function in Oban, we have The Brewery Room which has its own en suite bar and overlooks the Oban Bay Brewery.
